Calling All Creatives!
To celebrate Library Card Sign Up Month, we invite you to show off your creativity in our Bookmark Contest! From August 20 to September 30, 2026, aspiring artists of all ages can submit an original bookmark design inspired by reading, books, libraries, or your own imagination.
Contest Information
Participants will submit designs in the following age categories:
Kindergarten – Grade 2
Grades 3 – 5
Grades 6 – 12
Adult
Designs must be original (no copyrighted characters). Artists must reside in Northbridge. Only one entry per person. All entries become the property of Whitinsville Social Library.
In October, Library Staff will announce the winner in each level. The four winning designs will be made into bookmarks and distributed to all visitors to Whitinsville Social Library.

After you’ve finished your design visit this page again to upload and submit your artwork.
Creators can also drop off their completed entry at Whitinsville Social Library during business hours.
